One morning, I decided I needed to do something different with the Pita bread which I have had for a while. I did a little research and came up with Pita Bread ChipsThen I thought, “What dipping sauce do I have with the chips?”  I did my research again and decided to make a Greek Yogurt Dip.

The combo is yummy.

To make Pita Bread Chips is so easy, all you need are;

2 whole pockets of Pita Bread
1/4 teaspoon of Ginger or Garlic Powder
1/8 teaspoon of Ground Black pepper

1.5 tablespoon of Vegetable/Coconut oil/melted butter

For the Dip, you’ll need;

1 Cup plain Greek Yogurt

1/2 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Ginger (and/or Garlic Powder)

1 tablespoon Honey or 1.5 tablespoon Maple Syrup

For the Dip

Mix Greek Yogurt, Honey (or Maple syrup), Black Pepper and Ground Cinnamon in a bowl.

Refrigerate for at least two hours for flavors to blend.

For the Chips-

Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
Cut the Pita bread into 8 triangles per bread pocket, place in a baking sheet or aluminium foil.
Mix Ginger powder (and/or garlic powder) and Black Pepper with coconut oil/vegetable oil or melted butter.
Brush the Pita triangles with the mix.
Place in the oven for 5-6 minutes or until crispy.

P.S.-Aluminium Foil cooks faster, bottoms will brown more and get crispy.
